Gladly, got tix for Dawn of the Dead & went for lunch @ a restaurant near the cinema. Moments of dreadful waiting...and WAITING...our meal is still nowhere in sight. We've already paid for it while ordering. Even a buncha ppl who came in aft us got their food & the waitresses seemed to be very bz! And us ?!? 'Gratefully', air is wat we've got. The damn food place really pissed us off coz we're gonna be late for our movie...all thanks to the cook! Patiently & 'pissed-fully', we waited til time is already up for our movie. Great...Haven't even got a glance at our food.
Initially, felt a little lost(dunno whether to scold them), but stil keeping an optimistic part of me tat the food wil come b4 our movie's timeslot. Alrite, our patience tested, turned away & we juz walked out of the place without a word. Its not abt the bucks we've paid anymore, its the lousy service! Even if we confront them, we stil cant hav our meal b4 our movie. No choice, we juz ended up grabbing some snack @ the cinema during the show. Some may say "y dun u juz complain against them?!" haha however, its not my kind of thing to do. I guess in the fit of anger, the onli thing on mind is to get out of tat damn place.
Anyway, let's get to the movie. Its actually abit more thrilling than Resident Evil, but its not tat scary. I think its onli the parts where they are running away frm the undead(s) which is kinda 'interesting' & exciting. The setting of the movie, the shopping mall, turned out to be a typical scene for undead, ghouls or creatures to be chasing human where the human is always seem to be hiding in the mall(guess its the safest place?). This always happens in such movies. There're some parts of the show which are actually quite hilarious. Eg: when andy & the rest are playing chess & shooting game across 2 distant rooftops(using whiteboards & walkie-talkie to communicate & guns to shoot of coz), and the part where an old man tryin to be a hero & tried using the chainsaw on the undead but ended up sawing himself up & another gal due to the sharp turn of the bus. Well, if u've watched it, u'll noe wat i'm talkin abt. Btw, i'm glad to see Kevin Zegers once again, starring in this movie. First watched Komodo years back, and he was onli 14yrs old. He's not the most handsome actor arnd but to me, he's definitely charming.

My head’s spinning all day. So many thoughts come to my mind & I can’t find the words to say. Sometimes I find myself speaking but nobody’s listening. So, blogging might be a gd idea for ppl who ‘bothers’ & juz drop by here. Well, recently reality sets in & not doin anything proper or juz splurging hard-earned money ain't gonna do me any gd. Am i overly engrossed in entertainment these days? Late nites out, stayovers, ktv, movies etc...Simply, juz eat, drink, play & have fun. No doubt, i like spending time wif my frenz. Time spending wif them are juz fond memories of mine. But tis slack 'lifestyle' has juz became part of me after i've quit my job & sadly, aft getting my results. I’ve never regretted leaving any of my jobs since my very first job in few yrs back. Its actually kinda interesting to try out diff types of jobs & environment. However, the truth is tat job hunting sux & I’m jobless now.
Am i an escapist? tryin to run away frm reality? Wat does the trick is to be hanging out late til i'm really tired & by the time i'm on bed, i'll be off to dreamland. No stray thoughts, thinking nothing of the real world. Being arnd wif KH & frenz oso distracts me frm questions I have right now in my life. Wat wil become of me? Where wil my sch results bring me? Wat to do when i'm so broke? Will i be a gd daughter & to see tat my parents’ relationship is ‘better’? Questions unanswered. Hmm…I do envy kinship of other families better than mine…although mine is not the worst, I still hope the relationships in my family wil be better.
Maybe lacks sense of security in my life. If my life wil be like in my dreams, I’ll keep dreamin’. And I think love is the only dream in my reality. I’ll definitely cherish it. Will I be glad to have a job & turning out to be missing my lifestyle tat I’m having now? I dunno but I noe I need $ & I got to move on. Maybe I’ll juz have to take one step at a time & see wat holds in the future for me. I’m not sure why I’m feeling the way I’m feeling right now. I can’t find the trouble which is bothering me…or issit tat I juz dun see it? hmm…maybe I’m juz kinda ranting abt my thoughts. Tried sleeping early last nite but in the end, too many tots came to my mind. Got out of bed, on my laptop, typed out my tots in MS Word. Felt better after tat. So at last, decided tat I shld juz post it here in my blog, as above which has been typed out.

Thinking back, i've been spending quite alot especially during my tis slacking period. Really got to save & spend less...yea, i'm trying as much as i could. I've even promised joann & we make it a point to save up for our big plan! I guess sometimes i really got myself into financial probs...argh hate it!
Anyway, tis evening my dad's colleagues came for a friendly visit at home due to erm...some reason. 4 of them came. Out of my expectation, one of them is actually young & cute... my sis & I agreed, our 1st impression of tis guy was like "tis one's gd looking~" hehe. I guess he's most probably an engineer too since he's my dad's colleague. Hmm...alrite, i'll stop blogging abt him here.
Nowadays, i've got a craving for my Sweetheart... hmm...creamy, sweet & nice...hehe tried tis pastry at SGH last tues & its tasty :P Wat caught my eye was its 'heart-shape' & its name. So bought one to try it out & it turned out to be a real tasty snack, so in the end my mum bought some home for my siblings & i got to hav one more of it :) *yummy* But these few days i'm almost falling ill i guess...feeling warm,cough & abit of throat irritation. Well, see how wil my nxt few days go...

Pulau Ubin! Beautiful Boxer...?
Exhausted! The 2hr cycling @ Pulau Ubin today is really energy-draining but fun :) I haven't been cycling for years & was kinda nervous b4 goin to pulau ubin...hehe. Luckily, I din fell or anything *phew* Joann, rongz & I met at Tampinese interchange at 9am. Took bus 29 to Changi Jetty & board a boat to Pulau Ubin. The sun was scorching hot! We rented our bikes, got our maps & off we go on our bikes~ We cycled along paths & trails, maybe at times we were kinda lost? haha. Lucky today's sunday & there's actually quite alot of ppl cycling & hiking. Sometimes we'll b trying to figure out how to get to the beach & get back to the jetty. Cycling upslope was kinda tough but it seems to be an easy job for Joann :) Wats funny was tat rongz was so frightened whenever there're stray dogs passing by or by the distant barking of dogs...somemore she was teased by a buncha malays juz coz of her badge on the bag...hehe. Not much sightings but saw a really big lizard dash across our paths & some gals were screaming. Along the way, we were craving so much for an ice COLD coke to quench our thirst!(thou we did bring along our water bottles) Aft we get back to the jetty, we seeked a shelter & took a break. Wat more can we ask for than some really cooling & refreshing coconut drinks!! Felt so great~
After our break, we headed back to Changi Village for our lunch. Queued up for quite a long time & the supposedly famous Nasi Lemak in changi village is not tat great after all :( Wanted to go OCH but ended up rongz decided tat she dun wanna sweat anymore coz we had to walk quite a distance there. So we ended up in Tampinese Mall, Joann's territory :P Lazed arnd, we changed into our clean shirt & decided to catch a movie, Beautiful Boxer. We had an hr to slack b4 the 5.05pm show. Slacked arnd at a stairway & chatted, h/w Joann did sth silly to the cup of coke..haha. Its a thai show based on a true story & was kinda surprised to see Keagan Kang in it. Initially, tot the show might not be gd coz not many ppl r in the cinema & i din hear much abt it oso. But aft the 2hr movie, its actually quite an interesting & touching show...Not bad at all, there's some comedic scenes here & there which doesnt make it boring.
Aft the show, we went our separate ways home. Haiz, had to take a direct bus 969 for 1/2 hr back home. Haven't stepped into Tampinese Mall for a long time & it has changed quite alot. 2 words for today...fun & exhausting...my arms r really red now frm the sun & got quite a few mosquito bites as 'souveniors' frm pulau ubin...feeling warm all over my body now & my butt hurts frm the long cycling :( Joann & I had spent most of our $ 2day & haven't had much left so better not hav dinner outside. Btw, had Ramly burger frm a pasar malam nearby & it really tastes better than the time when i had it at malaysia on the way to genting. Well, gotta stop blogging for now, til nxt time...

Quite a fun day 2day, we(rongz & i) walked arnd orchard b4 meeting up the rest(joann,delia,wen ning,xuena) for dinner @ Marche. Initially goin to Fish & Co but the bday gal(rongz) wanna go Marche & so we went~ Rongz was really embarrassed while opening up the 'unique' presents frm us in Marche...hehe. And I'm stil pondering over why did delia kept takin photos even when there's nothin much to take? *shrugs* haha. We bought rongz a blueberry cake, yes, its a very creamy one...hehe. And yea, we got wat we wanted in the end, dun blame us rongz :) Glad tat we managed to take neoprints b4 the movie 50 First Dates at 9.25pm, though we were kinda late for the movie by then & its like full house! It was a really gd comedy wif great actors like adam sandler! I've really enjoyed the movie & aft tat we made our way to PS frm cineleisure. Din manage to take train wif the rest coz i had to rush off to meet KH. Last of all, hope tat the bday gal had enjoyed herself tis day :)

Lunchtime @ Raffles Place again! Tis time is chicken chop noodle(ji pa mian) wif joann, delia & rongz onli. Den we walked arnd far east square & back to their office. As usual, we went up juz to use the toilet & chat for a short while outside the office. Aft we left, we went to orchard for a job hunt & resulted in buyin newspapers juz for the classified ads. I decided we go the nearest mac @ lucky plaza & juz when we were walkin down the stairs to mac, I happen to see the mediacorp star, Michelle Chong. Tried to signal for rongz's attention but she was on the hp. Hmm the other time i saw michelle was when we were at cineleisure.
Anyway, job hunting 2day was to no avail. And so i left for causeway pt to meet up wif huiqin for dinner @ Pastamania. I really like pasta :) We had a full meal & den juz shopped arnd. Finally, went to the pasar malam nearby...nothing much to buy thou & its really warm there! Finally, we juz said our goodbyes & she left for her bus while i walked back home.

Its been a dreamy day since i woke up arnd 1pm 2day. Its probably due to the late nite supper & online last nite...Feelin' tat my head's kinda heavy all day :( Tis morning saw the sms frm liya to go sakae for dinner, and we went to meet each other & Liqng at arnd 6.45pm @ raffles place. Supposedly tis sakae dinner is on last mon, haha but postponed, so no matter wat, i hav to go for it 2day since i've promised dem le.
On the way on mrt, noticed a guy who looks like the combination of Daniel Chan & Feng De Lun! Quite shuai acutually :P Btw, liya was late & onli reached @ abt 7.15pm! Sakae was gd...as usual wif my fave scallops & chawanmushi :) But liya stole my share of Salmon sushi when I din notice! So greedy~ hehe j/k :X Its a sushi buffet & onli certain locations of sakae has buffet til 9pm. We've had a really full meal. We sat down by the S'pore River(i guess it is) & chatted for quite sometime b4 i suggested to walk down the road & shophouses to take a look. There're pubs which r quite empty & "open" actually, din noe there're oso many foreigners havin their meals @ restaurants along the riverside. While we're walkin down along the shophouses, the pubs' workers keep tryin to persuade & pull us into their pubs...wow, quite aggressive sia. But we juz walked away la. We kept walkin & walkin...all the way to Clark Quay & Hong Lim Park...somehow we din noe how get to Clark Quay & liya suggested goin thru the underpass...alrite we did but exit frm another end to Hong Lim Park, haiz. Then we stood by the roadside chattin awhile den shared a cab home. Haiz, I seem to be spending lotsa $ on cab...gotta find job & earn $ !

Thanks to delia for the NKF show tix today! she manage to got joann, rongz & me tix to go along to the show wif her coz we hav been discussing abt goin to the show since last nite at BK. Met arnd 4.30pm at novena but joann & delia were late. The show starts at 7pm, however, delia has to meet up wif her fren to collect the tix frm her at 5pm. Den we queued up at the warm carpark, eating breadtalk & observing the people arnd us.
When we got into the studio, we managed to choose our seats at the top gallery. Although initially it has to be 2 of us sitting downstairs & another 2 upstairs, but somehow, the 4 of us got to sit 2gether :) We din heed delia's advice of wearing formal there, which she insisted. There r ppl who wore formally as if goin to a function or prom nite but we onli wore jeans & plain top juz like many others. Aft the show started for a few mins, the person in charge found seats for us downstairs & tis means a clearer view :)
I was really excited coz when we were seated & watching the news b4 the show starts, joann told me tat 5566 is comin' to the show aft a last min decision! We oso saw a bunch of mediacorp actors like Jeff Wang, Qi Yu Wu etc walking from behind of our seats frm one side to the other b4 the show starts. I always used to go for my fave idols' showcase or autograph sessions but for 5566, I onli like Jason(Meng Zhe) so no pt goin aft them & as i grow up, i dun really go for all these 'chase' anymore. And so, finally i got to see Jason in real person! :) Waiting thru out the show, it wasnt as interesting as i tot, joann tot tat its kinda boring & i'm onli anticipating for 5566's appearance. Juz when joann & I went to the toilet & came back, 5566 finally appeared on stage~ They're wearin' all white coz dey rushed over to the NKF show while in the midst of a shoot for a commercial or sth like tat. Jason's real tall & shuai~! But dey onli sang a song & left :( a guy who sat beside me was a 5566 fan & he even shouted for Xiao Dao's attention! Actually, he's kinda like worse than a gal fan..yikes..turns me off.
I tink thru out the NKF show, the Tay Ping Hui's & Zoe Tay's performances left me a deep impression. H/w, Gurmit's & Mark Lee's performance's funny too. Aft the show, we took a cab down for supper. Wanted to go Newton's Circle but dunno why(tink the taxi driver oso blur) tat he sent us to Newton's Food Centre instead. Saw Mark Lee wif his wife & parents havin supper too. His wife's pretty. I'm so glad tat we've ordered stingray!! my fave food :P we shared hokkein mee,chicken wings,satay & sugar cane drinks...not bad for a supper :P Dunoe why joann, rongz & i can stil go chattin away into the nite but whenever its late at nite...delia becomes real quiet...but she mentioned she juz dun like to tok during meals...hmm *shrugs* Aft our supper, we took cab & went our separate ways home & i reached arnd 1am. Really tired & sleepy now, but really had fun hanging out wif them, esp rongz & joann were like so funny whenever joann speaks & rongz's out of frequency & dun understand the things joann said, haha.

Finally, i managed to start my 'engine' to go for job hunting aft such a long slacking break. Went to kbox to fill in an application form wif rongz & since the person in charge isnt around, we got to wait for kbox to inform us in a wk's time. Walked our way to far east to meet up wif joann & delia. Shopping arnd, accompanying delia to collect her idols pics & the 4 of us shared a cab down to plaza singapura to hav an early dinner at Cartel, visiting wen ning at the same time. Wen ning seems really happy coz we visited her at cartel while she's working & even took neoprints 2gether during her break :)
Thru out the whole day, rongz seems to hav a diff frequency frm us again :P & joann seems to make us all wanna strangle her wif every reaction & words she said...hahaha so 'qian bian'! delia was really havin a hard time walking arnd wif us in her pair of new, hard shoes. After accompanying rongz til she meet her fren at ps, the rest of us walked all the way to orchard pt, heerens & back to far east again. However, joann stil din manage to buy her hp strap. Juz then, we stayed at BK & went on chatting away til arnd 11pm den we left. The funny thing was, i accompanied delia & joann to wait for their bus & delia said the last bus518 was at 11.15pm. So we waited & waited...juz den a lady came along & seems to be mumbling to herself, "wats the last bus 4 bus518? aiya, its at 10.47pm..." we were stunned & checked the board for the last bus again, its really 10.47pm & we've waited for nothing for 15mins or so! haha...no choice, joann & delia went to take mrt & i took a cab home.
When i got home, my tummy wasnt well, din noe was it sth tat i ate/drink. Took a quick shower & wanted to go downstairs wif my mum to wait for my sis coz she hasnt reach home yet. Din call or sms...makin my mum worried...my sis went to 5566 concert which she got the tix frm a fren who called a radio station & got a free pair of tix! juz when we were abt to step out of the doorstep, my sis came back. She said she's wif her seniors & they sent her home, haiz made us worried for nothing.
