Last nite, i din have the time to update my blog, really sleepy then. Since the day i went to pulau ubin, i haven been waking up so early in the morning...until yesterday. Had a real intimidating incident in the morning. Bought lunch back for my family on my way home aft the incident. So tired & sleepy coz the previous nite i slept when its into dawn, but no choice, still went for a sec sch clique gathering at orchard in the evening.
Supposedly there're 6 of us but ended up, 2 of them din turn up coz of some misfortune & unforseen circumstances :( Well, had our dinner @ Hard Rock Cafe. Mel & i been there but can't rem the way exactly & liya, qiujin have nvr been there. H/w, wif the help of wen ning, we managed to reach our destination~ We're surprised to see jasmine working there & she's friendly when she saw us. We took quite some time discussing wat to order & where to draw $ coz the rest of them needs more cash. The atmosphere was quite nice for us to be chatting & dining at the cushioned seats, with the dimmed lights & candles on the tables. Not forgetting to mention tat liya's got her way/skill of scraping & eating the corn!
We waited for 9pm coz its their happy hours & drinks are more worth it. So we shared a jug. Enjoyed the live band. There's a male singer accompanied wif a female singer, with a live band of coz. The first few songs aren't really our cup of tea until songs like Someday & some other songs which we know of caught our attention. The keyboard player & the male lead singer both got a nice voice & the female singer has a powerful voice. Think they can reg for Singapore Idol hehe. There's a part where the diners got to get up on stage to sing a song or two. Wow, most of them got the standard except for a song where a malay guy sings his heart out trying to sound like Creed. But actually most of us shut off his voice & got attracted by the groovy beat of the music...which was played by a cute drummer~ well, the drummer is tat malay guy's fren, one of the diners in HRC.
We finally had the opportunity to catch up wif the ongoings of our lives...its really hard to organise an outing for the 6 of us to be present, ever since NYDC, if i'm not wrong. We had a couple of drinks, my cheeks got all 'heated up' again & they could see tat my face turned all red even under the candlelight. Realised my neck's all red too frm the drinks when i looked into the mirror. haha but i'm definitely well & sober, juz turns red easily whenever i drink :)
qiujin left b4 us first. While the 3 of us were walking to the mrt station, we realised its already 11.50pm or so. When we reached the station, we were relieved tat we managed to catch the last train. H/w, there's this damn annoying announcement which repeats itself 2-3 times per min for 12mins!! When one's tired, sleepy & had to put up wif this nonsense, its kinda 'torturing' yea? haha. Maybe nxt time we shldn't catch the last train. The road from the mrt to my house is really quiet & there's noone in sight right after i crossed the junction :( scary~ but my mum went down to the void deck & fetch me. hehe.
